IT Architecture Position

We are seeking a skilled IT architect to lead the design and implementation of our infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing architecture using distribution points/site servers, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune, and solid knowledge in the development of client releases in complex IT landscapes.

  • Integration of clients in deployment and update infrastructures for Windows 10 Enterprise.
  • Planning and conception of the migration of approx. 1600 Windows 7 clients into the new infrastructure.
  • Distribution of the clients across Germany and in few sites through small network bandwidths.
  • Migration of scripts for initial inclusion in the AD domain and configuration of Cisco AnyConnect VPN tunnels on Windows 10 LTSB.
  • Migration of clients from a Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory domain to a Windows Server 2016 Active Directory domain.

The IT architect will also be responsible for coordinating software, system, and solution design in IT projects and project management in compliance with guidelines and standards of the solution architecture and higher-level IT enterprise architecture as well as technical security architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced IT architect who can provide expert guidance on infrastructure design and implementation. The key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
  • Migrating existing systems to new infrastructure.
  • Ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and networks.
  • Developing and maintaining IT documentation and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all IT projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.

  • Extensive experience in IT architecture and infrastructure design.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Solid knowledge in the development of client releases in complex IT landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
