Senior Systems Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Developer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.

  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS, including networking, IAM, compute resources, containerization, databases, and storage solutions.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using services like CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, ECS, ECR, and SageMaker.
  • Automate operational tasks, monitoring, and self-healing mechanisms using infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
  • Ensure infrastructure adheres to best practices for security, encryption (KMS), access control, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering and machine learning teams to ensure infrastructure and services perform optimally, are cost-effective, and scale efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Infrastructure Architect: Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  2. CICD Pipeline Implementer: Establish and refine continuous integration and deployment processes using services like CodePipeline and GitHub Actions.
  3. Automation Specialist: Automate operational tasks, monitoring, and self-healing mechanisms using infrastructure-as-code tools.
  4. Security Expert: Ensure infrastructure adheres to best practices for security, encryption, access control, and compliance.
  5. Data Specialist: Collaborate closely with data engineering and machine learning teams to ensure infrastructure and services perform optimally.
