Machine Learning Engineer Role

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, and research machine learning systems, models, and schemes. You will perform statistical analysis and use results to improve models, train and retrain ML systems and models as needed, analyze the use cases of ML algorithms, and rank them by their success probability.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative thinker and problem solver who can roll over sleeves to solve problems on a day-to-day basis
  • Demonstrate flexibility and openness in a dynamic highly technical environment
  • Designing, developing, and researching Machine Learning systems, models, and schemes
  • Performing statistical analysis and using results to improve models
  • Training and retraining ML systems and models as needed
  • Analyzing the use cases of ML algorithms and ranking them by their success probability
  • Understanding when your findings can be applied to business decisions
  • Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
  • Identify challenges and technical interdependencies and suggest solutions to address them
  • Teach, mentor, grow, and advise other domain experts, individual contributors, and teams in the organization
  • Work with key customers in assigned areas to address technical challenges
  • Exemplify company values through code, reviews, communications, and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
  • Proficiency with Python and R code writing
  • Mid-level Cloud experience AWS/Azure including Azure Machine Learning and AWS Sage Maker
  • In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience of working in an offshore software development environment is a plus

About This Role

This mid-senior level role requires a strong background in machine learning engineering with a focus on designing, developing, and researching machine learning systems, models, and schemes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture, as well as proficiency in Python and R code writing.
