Job Description

As a highly skilled Database Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and patching Oracle Databases. You will write ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge and manage database high availability and performance.

You will ensure data governance standards are followed to maintain high data quality and develop policies and procedures for data standards, access, usage, and disaster recovery.

You will analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner, perform backups, and periodically test restore processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster), Data Guard, and Golden Gate is essential.
  • Familiarity with data governance standards and compliance is also necessary.
  • Experience in database migration, upgradation, and backup recovery is a must.
  • Experience in Linux operating system and shell scripting is preferred.
