Senior Engineering Leader - Product Development

This leadership role is responsible for guiding the engineering organization, driving technical strategy, and ensuring the successful development and delivery of high-quality software products.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of software product development in Agile environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Strategy and Leadership: Define and execute the engineering strategy to align with product and business objectives.
  • Innovation and Scalability: Drive innovation, scalability, and performance optimization across product.
  • Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices in software development, architecture, and DevOps.
  • Tech Choice and Compliance: Ensure technology choices support product growth, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Product Roadmap Collaboration: Collaborate with product management to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
  • Quality and Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Implement Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies for efficient development and release cycles.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
  • Culture and Talent: Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent.
  • Training and Career Paths: Develop career paths and training programs to upskill the engineering team.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with product management, UX, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Communication: Communicate technical challenges and trade-offs effectively to executive leadership.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Drive collaboration between engineering, operations, and customer support teams for seamless product delivery.
