Servicing and Maintaining Industrial Equipment

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to support our team in servicing and maintaining industrial equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in maintenance and repair activities, material requisitions, planning, and scheduling.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shift Engineer/Maintenance Engineer in performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
  • Conduct all planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Manage equipment, materials, and tools to ensure they are available for work execution.
  • Report on resources, time utilization, job scope changes, rework, or deferred maintenance.
Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance and repair activities.

  • Hands-on experience with internal combustion engines.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Understanding of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment standards.
