Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter data into computer systems from source documents within time limits.
  • Compile and verify information for data entry, ensuring accuracy and prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Review entered data for errors or deficiencies, making corrections as necessary and checking output for quality.
  • Research incomplete documents to obtain additional information, applying data program techniques and procedures as required.
  • Generate reports and store completed work in designated locations, performing backup operations as needed.
  • Operate office equipment, including scanners and printers, to support data entry tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies.
  • Provide responsive support to queries for information, accessing relevant files and documents as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and data programs is essential.
  • The ability to learn and apply new software and systems is crucial.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional computer training or certification is an asset.
