Junior PHP WordPress Developer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Junior PHP WordPress Developer to join our in-house development team. In this role, you will be assisting in creating and developing high-quality WordPress-based websites and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the UI/UX designer to implement and develop responsive website designs, ensuring an optimal user experience across different devices and browsers.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes according to project requirements.
  • Customize and enhance existing WordPress themes to meet specific project needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during the development process.
  • Conduct website performance optimization to ensure fast page loading times and smooth user interactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with expertise in WordPress theme development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Extensive knowledge of WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks and libraries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
