Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated testing strategies to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with software designers to determine quality assurance parameters and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and implement comprehensive testing protocols, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures as necessary to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on production.
  • Analyze product specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Review quality assurance reports and provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure the successful deployment of products into the market by working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, project managers, and QA management to ensure transparent communication and collaboration.
  • Perform various types of black box testing to ensure product reliability and performance.

Requirements:

We require a proven work experience of three to five years in software quality assurance, with a strong background in software development and testing methodologies.

Job Specifications:

  • Able to set up complex test scenarios to simulate various environments involving multiple systems.
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing, with a strong understanding of testing frameworks and tools.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with experience in applying these principles in a real-world setting.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring effective communication and execution.
  • Experience in reporting detailed bugs and performing bug tracking, with a strong focus on issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Eager to learn new and advanced tools for growth, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, with experience in applying iterative and incremental approaches to software development and testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, result-oriented, self-driven, and able to complete projects/assign tasks efficiently.
  • Extensive experience testing web services and RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of API security and compliance requirements.
