School Operations Manager

The Head Teacher plays a crucial role in the School's success by leading the operational aspects, ensuring effective management, and driving strategic planning. They work closely with the Regional office to improve the School's performance across multiple areas.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership Development: Foster a positive school ethos, promoting children's learning and developing the school as an effective learning organization.
  2. Target Achievement: Work with EOS to establish and achieve school development targets, focusing on enrollment growth, improved examination results, and enhanced performance in key areas.
  3. Role Modeling: Demonstrate courageous leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement, inspiring teachers and staff.
  4. Program Implementation: Contribute to the design and execution of school operations and improvement programs, collaborating with the Head of South Schools and other regional schools.
  5. Policy Adherence: Ensure the School aligns with the organizational vision, values, policies, and procedures.
  6. School Development: Oversee strategic planning, human resource development, and student progress through the annual school development plan.
  7. Training and Evaluation: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of in-service professional development activities, working closely with the regional team.
  8. Staff Performance: Conduct thorough performance appraisals of teachers and staff, evaluating their contributions to the school's development goals.
  9. Financial Management: Promote responsible financial management, ensuring the School operates efficiently and effectively supports teaching and learning.
  10. Data Analysis: Establish processes for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating relevant data to inform timely decisions regarding student and school performance.
Job Requirements

- A B.ED or M.ED degree is a requirement.
- The ability to make informed decisions is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective people management.
- Clear and concise communication is vital.
