Leadership Opportunity: Chief Operating Officer

Job Description:

The role of the Chief Operating Officer is pivotal in driving the success of our healthcare organization. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for aligning operational plans with strategic objectives to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Ensure smooth hospital functioning by providing guidance and support to the hospital team.
  • Prepare proposals for new projects, including estimates and recommendations, aligned with the hospital's five-year plan.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to drive strategic and operational planning initiatives.
  • Guarantee the availability of competent human resources, based on workload and healthcare standards, within approved budgets.
  • Lead initiatives that promote hospital culture transformation, focusing on positivity, knowledge sharing, accountability, adaptability, and empowerment.
  • Pursue partnerships with communities, educational institutions, and NGOs to execute Healthcare awareness campaigns.
  • Provide leadership support for facility management, Ambulance Services, Transport, Hostels, and Cafeteria.
  • Oversee the execution of preventive maintenance plans for biomedical equipment.
  • Manage supply chain operations, ensuring proper planning and process implementation for Medical and Non-Medical items.
  • Participate in budget planning and facilitate approval of the operating budget.
  • Manage hospitals financials within budget guidelines and according to financial policies and compliance to laws.
  • Achieve Revenue and Profitability targets through best quality healthcare services.
  • Deliver cost-effective healthcare services via design and implementation of process improvement.
  • Ensure effective technology integration via HIMS/SAP.
  • Deliver best medical and nursing care to patients and plan rounds for consistent monitoring.
  • Execute marketing strategies to promote best healthcare services with more focus on social media.
  • Ensure ISO 9001:2015 Quality standards are implemented and periodic audits are successful.
  • Administer quality documentation and manage quality audits.
  • Execute quality teaching programs in line with guidelines of PMDC/CPSP.
  • Implement Continuous Medical Education Programs with mandatory training hours.
  • Ensure implementation of Riphah Mission and Islamic Ethical Values in true spirit.
