The role of an Accountant involves a range of financial and accounting duties.

Key responsibilities include preparing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This will involve analyzing data, identifying trends and discrepancies, and making recommendations for improvements.

Accounting Tasks
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection of funds.
  • Manage staff expenses, ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Process BACS payments, reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts.
  • Produce regular financial reports, including daily, weekly and monthly management accounts.
Requirements
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with 2+ years experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
