NFV PS Core Service Engineer: A Cloud-Native Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NFV PS Core Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting PS core network products, including equipment commissioning and debugging, upgrade and cutover, troubleshooting, and HLD/LLD Design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and designing of HLD/LLD documents
  • Deployment of cloud core network elements
  • Software installation and commissioning
  • Integration of network elements
  • Migration of subscribers/traffic
  • Patch upgrade and expansion of existing network elements
  • Troubleshooting of network issues
  • Providing technical training, guidance, and communication for on-site maintenance engineers and customer engineers

Routine Actions:

  • Project deployment, commissioning, and integration of EPC network (EPC, MME, PGW, SGW, SGSN, GGSN, PCRF, USN, UGW, Switches, Routers), 5GC (AMF, UDM)
  • Responsible for technical communication clarification with the operator, providing relevant solutions with the support team towards customer requirements
  • Ensuring smooth operations and effective customer management
  • Knowledge of Internet security frameworks like ISO 2000, Security Framework Compliance
  • Support according to project requirements based on different time zones
  • Ready to travel anywhere as per business needs

Preferred Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in ECE/Computer Science (IT) / Computer Science or related fields
  • Mobile core technologies, including 3GPP, EPC Virtualization, M2M, and LTE is helpful
  • Experience in Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and Cloud Packet Core (CPC)
  • Call flows and in-depth NE understanding
  • Knowledge of interfaces and protocols like Diameter, GTP, SS7 is a plus
  • Knowledge of end-to-end product commissioning and integration will be preferred
  • Understanding of nodes (EPC, MME, PGW, SGW, SGSN, GGSN, PCRF, USN, UGW, Switches, Routers), 5GC (AMF, UDM)
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud NFV, Cloud SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS is a plus
  • CUPS knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of VoWifi with ePDG is a plus
