Frontend Engineering Leadership

As a seasoned Frontend Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor our Frontend Engineering team in architecting and optimizing scalable frontend solutions using React.js. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in fostering growth and technical excellence within a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional results.
  2. Architect, design, and optimize scalable frontend solutions using React.js, leveraging your expertise to drive performance optimizations.
  3. Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless API integrations, utilizing PHP expertise where necessary.
  4. Drive performance optimizations, improving load times, rendering efficiency, and overall application responsiveness.
  5. Implement best practices for frontend development, code quality, and maintainability, ensuring that all solutions meet the highest standards.
  6. Oversee the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and engineering standards.
  7. Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to enhance user experiences.
  8. Ensure high availability and scalability of frontend systems.
  9. Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and champion engineering excellence.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably managing a high-performing team.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js, including state management, hooks, and component-based architecture.
  • Proficiency in PHP and experience working with backend APIs, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and scalability principles, driving innovative solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making, driving informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring effective collaboration.
