We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Cycle Operations Manager to oversee our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations.
About the RoleThis leadership position is essential for cultivating a high-performance culture, aligning team output with organizational goals, and driving operational excellence in RCM. The successful candidate will be responsible for team supervision, development, performance management, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Development:
- Lead and motivate the RCM team to achieve operational targets and quality benchmarks.
- Serve as acting manager in the absence of the Billing Manager.
- Mentor and coach team members, identifying training needs and supporting career development.
- Collaborate with HR to drive employee engagement, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day billing operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and payer compliance.
- Implement process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, compliance standards, and client-specific guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize workflow.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Handle escalations and client inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
- Prepare detailed operational and performance reports for senior management.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum five years of experience in U.S. medical billing, including at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures and payer systems including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Proficiency with billing software and electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
