About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead our security operations in the region. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in security, military or police and excellent software skills.

The Security Manager will be responsible for advising country management on security matters, providing direction and support on security-related changes, and recommending security practices to ensure policies and business needs are met.

Key responsibilities include advising country management on any changes and recommended countermeasures, providing direction, support and advice on security matters, and advising on any security related changes and recommending security practices to ensure policies and business needs are met to specifications.

The Security Manager will also provide regular updates on security issues, ensure compliance to regional security policies and procedures, and develop and implement policies, procedures and security practices to safeguard employees, customers' shipments, assets and information against loss, damage or incident.

This role requires the ability to coordinate country security activities, conduct security audits, and co-ordinate the implementation of stipulated and other relevant Security training programmes for country personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise country management on any changes and recommended countermeasures
  • Provide direction, support and advice on security matters
  • Advising on any security related changes and recommend security practices to ensure policies and business needs are met to specifications
  • Sourcing appropriate security vendors and consultants with respect to the purchase of security equipment, undertaking of investigations, etc.
  • Maintaining close working relationships with regional authorities to ensure strong links are maintained between Org and such authorities
  • Enlisting the support of all staff to ensure that environment is safe and secure
  • Liaising closely to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy
