We are seeking a skilled Software Development Leader to join our team.

About the Role

This role involves designing and implementing scalable architecture, contributing to robust projects that track assets and provide real-time insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create solutions that meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, particularly in backend systems, and be proficient in languages such as Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, or Java. They should also have knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable architecture for new feature developments
  • Contribute to robust projects that track assets and provide real-time insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business needs
  • Maintain system health through monitoring, logging, and debugging
  • Work on AWS cloud infrastructure and mentor junior developers
Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Affinity for creating extensible, performant, and readable software
  • Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems, and data models
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or similar languages
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra
  • Cloud infrastructure experience, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or private clouds
  • Leadership experience, conducting code reviews, and unblocking engineers
