Embedded Quality Assurance and Automation Specialist

Our organization seeks an Embedded QA/DevOps Engineer to collaborate on implementing the DevOps/QA strategy for embedded software using modern infrastructure and tools.

This role involves working on real-time operating systems and virtualization solutions, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, C-based unit test development, and test automation for embedded platforms. Key responsibilities include understanding software development and QA processes, knowledge of Git-based tools like GitHub and GitLab, and expertise in software testing methodologies and tools.

Key qualifications include:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of Software Development and QA processes
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
  • Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in C/C++, Python, and/or shell scripting
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems and Real-Time Operating Systems concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote teams
  • Ability to adhere to scheduled and team-agreed timelines

A strong candidate will be a quick learner, self-motivated, and a quality-driven person with excellent teamwork skills.

Good to have:

  • Familiarity with Containers (Docker)
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab pipelines and GitHub actions)
  • Experience of working in Agile model
  • Device drivers testing experience
  • Experience of working in open source preferably Zephyr RTOS
