Job Description: Technical Cloud Solutions Manager

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Cloud Solutions Manager to lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of software engineers, DevOps engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud-based solutions and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud-based and software development projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment on objectives while meeting project milestones, scope, schedule, and requirements.
  3. Develop detailed project plans, ensuring clear deliverables, timelines, and risk management strategies.
  4. Manage project risks and dependencies, mitigating potential issues and ensuring successful project delivery.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients by maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project progress and ongoing activities.
  6. Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies, ensuring the team follows agile methodologies.
  7. Work with software developers to ensure that code quality, architecture, and deployment strategies align with cloud infrastructure and business requirements.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the success of projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned.
  9. Stay current on project management trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring the team adopts innovative solutions that improve overall performance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in technical project management and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  3. Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS and their related tools and services.
  4. Understanding of software development and experience of coordinating with teams working in various programming languages.
  5. Excellent client management skills, with experience in handling escalations, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive cross-functional teams.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve challenges in complex, dynamic environments.
