Shopify Developer Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals as a Shopify developer.

The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining custom Shopify themes and apps. You will also be responsible for customizing existing Shopify templates to meet client requirements, optimizing site performance, speed, and SEO, integrating third-party APIs and plugins, troubleshooting and resolving bugs and technical issues, collaborating with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility, providing support and maintenance for existing Shopify websites, and staying updated with the latest trends and features in Shopify and eCommerce.

  • Develop, test, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps.
  • Customize existing Shopify templates to meet client requirements.
  • Optimize site performance, speed, and SEO.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and plugins.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing Shopify websites.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and features in Shopify and eCommerce.

We are looking for someone with strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery, experience with version control tools like Git, familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations, knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Shopify and Shopify Plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We value experience with headless Shopify (Hydrogen / Next.js), knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce, and experience with tools like Klaviyo, ReCharge, or similar.
