Delivery Excellence Specialist

The Delivery Excellence Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing day-to-day vendor performance and driving long-term operational efficiency across the inland delivery network. This includes ensuring compliance with established standards, supporting the delivery of business outcomes such as on-time performance, cost efficiency, data visibility, and digital integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor service quality (e.g., On-Time Delivery, data exchange, digital visibility) across all modes and vendors.
  • Drive compliance of vendors to standards including invoice control, digital integration, system use, and payment policies.
  • Lead vendor onboarding processes, ensuring alignment to global policies, local regulations, and operational systems.
  • Address vendor non-compliance and take corrective actions in coordination with Procurement, Delivery, and Finance teams.
  • Ensure vendor allocation aligns with product and procurement directives.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Procurement, CX, HSSE, Finance, Product) to ensure mutual obligations and expectations are met.
  • Provide market insights and vendor feedback to improve sourcing strategy and supplier relationship management.
  • Contribute to supplier audits and ensure vendor readiness for digital and operational transformation.
Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement:
  • Track and report on vendor KPIs including NPS, SLA compliance, visibility adoption, data exchange standards, and payment timelines.
  • Support development of business continuity plans and promote resilience across the supplier network.
  • Contribute to performance management of the vendor operations team and collaborate with analysts to improve data-driven decision-making.
