The University is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Associate Professor in Biochemistry to teach and conduct research in our department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising research projects, and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials and resources for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
  2. To supervise and mentor students on research projects, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of their studies.
  3. To conduct research in the field of biochemistry, publishing articles in reputable journals and presenting papers at conferences.
  4. To contribute to the development of our department, participating in departmental meetings and committees as required.


Requirements:
  • A Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a related field from a recognized university or institution.
  • At least 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized university or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
  • A minimum of 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
