About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in signal processing, acoustic theory, and electroacoustic fundamentals to join our Advanced Tech R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the auditory experience of customers through audio and voice optimization for various products, including earbuds, phones, and vehicles.

This role involves implementing and optimizing audio signal processing and machine learning solutions, conducting acoustic analyses, developing and validating acoustic models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating performance reports, and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in acoustics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, optimize, and validate audio signal processing and machine learning solutions for various applications.
  • Conduct acoustic analyses and assessments for product development and improvement.
  • Develop and validate acoustic models using simulation tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate acoustic designs and solutions.
  • Create performance reports and provide recommendations for sound quality enhancements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in signal processing, acoustic theory, and electroacoustic fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB programming languages.
  • Experience with audio signal modeling and algorithm development.
  • Familiarity with C, C++, or other programming languages for audio applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and its application to audio and acoustics.
Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 1+ year of relevant work experience.
  • A PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
