Job Description

As a Senior Lending Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient processing of loans, conducting thorough business loan evaluations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering client relationships to drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Loan Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of business loan applications, evaluating creditworthiness, financial stability, and alignment with company policies and risk management frameworks. Provide recommendations on loan approvals, rejections, and terms, ensuring alignment with company strategy and risk guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and compliance, to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant loan documentation and financial analysis.
  3. Loan Processing: Manage the end-to-end loan application process, ensuring thorough assessments of clients' financial stability and creditworthiness. Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure timely processing and clear communication.
  4. Contract Management: Prepare and finalize loan contracts, ensuring clients are fully informed about terms, conditions, fees, and charges. Ensure contracts comply with policies and regulations, and facilitate signing to expedite disbursement.
  5. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Adhere to all relevant lending regulations, company policies, and compliance standards. Monitor risk factors related to loans and ensure operations comply with legal and internal protocols.
  6. Customer Record Management: Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential client records. Ensure timely updates and dispatch of relevant statements.
  7. Client Relationship Management: Provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries, resolve complaints, and foster long-term relationships. Offer financial guidance and support loan restructuring when needed.
  8. Overdue Loan Management: Develop strategies to manage overdue loans, advising clients on repayment, restructuring, and rescheduling. Maintain open communication to resolve issues effectively.
  9. Operational Feedback & Process Improvement: Provide feedback on lending products, processes, and systems. Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and performance.
  10. Loan Monitoring & Reporting: Track loan portfolio performance, repayment trends, and risks. Provide regular reports to management on key metrics and trends.
