About the Position

Software Engineer II (Application/System) – Pakistan


Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with IT professionals, developers, and stakeholders to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements, facilitating clear communication regarding infrastructural needs, updates, and enhancements for optimal performance and scalability.
  2. Manage, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot both Linux and Windows environments to ensure seamless application performance and system efficiency.
  3. Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users for our team's applications.
Qualifications:
  1. 2+ years of hands-on experience in system/application administration, infrastructure management, or similar roles.
  2. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  3. Strong understanding of databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  4. Hands-on experience with SQL scripting (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
  5. Hands-on experience with Linux systems (Centos, Oracle Linux).
  6. Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
  7. Utilize scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
  8. Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, etc.).
