Key Responsibilities

  • Design well-structured software and write clean, efficient code.
  • Develop third-party integrations and ensure product technologies are on supported versions.
  • Provide technical mentorship on technologies, frameworks, methods, and standards to other team members.
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
  • Communicate effectively, articulating multiple solutions and their trade-offs.
  • Optimize relational database structures to ensure data integrity and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough testing of developed features, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process and system functionality.
  • Produce specifications and provide thoughtful estimates of effort.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least five years of experience working in the software development industry within an agile environment.
  • Experience with PHP, Laravel, MSSQL/MySQL, Git, and RESTful APIs.
  • Back-end development and software development skills.
  • Back-end web development and object-oriented programming (OOP) skills.
  • Experience with PHP version migration and relational databases.
  • Exceptional analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working on the complete software development life cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Wamp, Apache, or Nginx.
  • Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers/IIS.
  • Experience developing on an AWS cloud infrastructure.
