Key Responsibilities

As a skilled software engineer, you will design and develop high-performance applications with scalability in mind.

  • Build responsive UIs using reusable components within a design system.

  • Develop secure APIs using Node.js and integrate them with external services to create a seamless user experience.

  • Collaborate effectively with Agile/Scrum teams through active participation in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, proactively managing technical debt to maintain optimal performance.

  • Utilize GitHub for source control, contributing to code reviews and maintaining coding best practices to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Communicate project status, blockers, and insights clearly with team members and stakeholders to facilitate smooth collaboration.

  • Work with Google Cloud Platform services, manage storage solutions like Google Buckets, and leverage Docker tools for efficient deployments.

Core Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React, TailwindCSS, and React Aria for intuitive data-driven UIs and visualization systems.

  • Backend: Node.js (Feathers/Express) and MongoDB, with Elasticsearch experience considered valuable.

  • Infrastructure: GCP-hosted applications running in a Kubernetes environment, requiring Docker and command-line usage familiarity.

AI & Advanced Integrations

This role provides exposure to innovative AI-driven projects:

  • Implementing semantic search powered by vector embeddings in Elasticsearch.
  • Leveraging Vertex AI and Google Gemini for intelligent document Q&A.
  • Developing notebook-style multi-file Q&A capabilities.
  • Building AI agents for customer profiling, insights, and opportunity discovery.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven full-stack development experience with React and Node.js.
  • Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and modern component library usage.
  • Experience using Jira, Slack, or equivalent collaboration tools.
  • Passion for AI/LLM applications and hands-on experience with AI-based tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional team work.
  • Must work at least 4 hours overlap during US morning hours.
