Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Specialist to join our team. As a Media Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic communication plans and media relations strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media, journalism, news writing, editing, or mass communication, with at least 5 years of experience in a related field. A proven track record with reputable media outlets such as Dawn or Jang is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality press releases, statements, and briefing materials, planning and coordinating promotional events, press conferences, and other media events, building and maintaining relationships with journalists, influencers, and other members of the media, responding to media inquiries and arranging interviews with key individuals within the organization, establishing a media/communication team and working mechanism with the company, and providing training for the team on writing, editing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans and media relations strategies
  • Produce high-quality press releases, statements, and briefing materials
  • Plan and coordinate promotional events, press conferences, and other media events
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and other members of the media
  • Respond to media inquiries and arrange interviews with key individuals within the organization

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and local language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use different types of media editing software
