Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Baker who will be responsible for producing high-quality bakery products and maintaining a clean working environment. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to achieve our culinary goals.

1. Menu Planning: Develop daily and next-day menu plans in consultation with our chef.
2. Inventory Management: Receive and store ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
3. Cake Decoration: Prepare sugar paste, icing, cream mixtures, fondants, or meringue required for decorating cakes and pastries.
4. Baking: Produce a variety of cakes with different designs, using various types of paste and writing on cakes when necessary.
5. Product Quality: Ensure the quality and hygiene of all baked goods, adhering to our strict quality control standards.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock rotation, and equipment maintenance.
7. Safety and Hygiene: Monitor the safety and hygiene conditions of our bakery products and report any issues to management immediately.
8. Cleaning: Maintain a clean working environment by following our 'clean as you go' policy.
9. Shift Work: Be flexible and work assigned shifts as needed.

1. Qualifications: Preferably a matriculate with a bakery certificate course from a recognized institution or non-matriculate with training in baking from a reputable institution.
2. Experience: 4-5 years of related work experience for matriculates or 5-6 years for non-matriculates.
3. Skills: Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards, ability to read and write in Urdu and English, operate bakery and kitchen equipment, and follow standard recipes and guidelines.
4. Personal Qualities: Respectful attitude towards colleagues and management, ability to work in a team, and knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods.
