Construction Agronomist

Job Summary:

Grand City Developing is seeking a highly skilled Agriculture Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sustainable landscapes around constructed areas, ensuring a balance between functionality and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Construction Projects:
• Collaborate with our construction teams to integrate landscaping and agricultural considerations into the overall design of our housing societies.
• Assist in planning and executing site grading, soil stabilization, and erosion control measures.
• Improve Soil Quality:
• Conduct soil sampling and testing to determine its load-bearing capacity and suitability for construction projects.
• Provide recommendations for soil improvement to ensure the structural stability of foundations.
• Enhance Biodiversity:
• Develop and implement biodiversity enhancement strategies to increase ecosystem services and improve air quality.
• Select plants and trees that thrive in the region's soil and climate, ensuring minimal maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in soil testing and analysis for construction projects.
• Knowledge of irrigation and drainage system design in urban development.
• Familiarity with geotechnical and environmental considerations in construction.
• Proficiency in relevant software for soil analysis and landscape planning.
