Fabrication Expert

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee product designing activities in line with marketing requirements.
• Determine specifications and Bill of Material for cost estimation purposes related to product design.
• Fabricate prototypes for approved contracts/tenders by the Marketing department.
• Design products considering cost-saving implementations.
• Select parts to be localized or vendorized, coordinating with PR&D.
• Create dies, jigs, and fixtures for in-house parts production.
• Organize and control manufacturing process activities.
• Provide customer satisfaction regarding cost and timing.
• Orient resources for maximum effect while minimizing loss, under-utilization, or waste.
• Select machines, tools, and materials for approved products.
• Offer guidelines during development regarding design changes or other improvements to Purchase and PR&D departments.
• Maintain close coordination with Quality Assurance to ensure quality of parts.
• Maintain machines and facilities in optimal condition for uninterrupted use with Plant Engineering department.
• Analyze and prepare/identify parts for new models and their duty structure as per government rules.
• Float parts & drawings for quotation, price negotiation, and subsequent ordering.
