Job Description

This is a senior-level sales leadership role that requires strategic thinking and strong execution skills.

The Zonal Manager will be responsible for driving zonal sales performance in alignment with regional sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and guiding the sales team to create effective demand and manage customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to sales teams to drive sales growth and team development.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and convert new business prospects into revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies at the zonal level, aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction through proactive engagement.
  • Process Efficiency: Establish efficient processes to sustain and grow sales, ensuring 100% compliance with company policies and ethics.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agrotechnology, Agronomy, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the agricultural industry, preferably in pesticides.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales growth and team development.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers and understand their needs.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office.
  • In-depth knowledge of agricultural input marketing and sales value chains, as well as market participant behaviors.
  • Strong execution skills and ability to motivate and inspire sales teams.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Business acumen and ability to think strategically.
  • Customer-focused and result-oriented approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
