About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our team at Technupur. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performing applications for our cutting-edge agricultural management platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, API integrations, and a good understanding of frontend technologies. Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps is a plus.

In this role, you will work closely with our front-end developers to build seamless, cross-platform user experiences with React.js and Flutter (mobile). You will also be responsible for implementing secure authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0 and JWT, ensuring encryption for data at rest and in transit.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in agile development environments. You should also be proficient in Node.js, Express.js, and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL). Hands-on experience integrating third-party services and APIs is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop RESTful APIs: Utilize Node.js and Express.js to design and develop RESTful APIs that meet the needs of our users.
  • Implement Database Management: Implement and manage PostgreSQL databases efficiently to ensure seamless data storage and retrieval.
  • Integrate with External Services: Integrate with external services such as Stripe, PayPal, DJI Drone SDK, John Deere Ops Center, and other agricultural APIs.
  • Develop Real-Time Communication Frameworks: Develop WebSocket/Socket.IO functionalities for real-time updates and notifications across mobile and web applications.
  • Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Work with AWS (S3, RDS) to deploy and manage backend services.
  • Implement Security and Authentication Mechanisms: Implement secure authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0 and JWT, ensuring encryption for data at rest and in transit.
  • Collaborate with Front-End Developers: Work closely with front-end developers to build seamless, cross-platform user experiences with React.js and Flutter (mobile).
  • Set Up CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and manage cloud infrastructure with AWS.
