Professional Biller

Hospice companies seek experienced professionals to manage their billing operations. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for electronically submitting claims to third-party payers, processing rejections and denied claims, and generating patient statements.

• E-billing of Third-Party Claims: Ensure timely submission of accurate electronic claims to patients' insurance providers.
• Claim Rejection and Denial Management: Identify and resolve claim discrepancies, negotiate with payers, and resubmit corrected claims as needed.
• Billing Software Utilization: Familiarize yourself with various medical billing software applications and leverage them to streamline the billing process.

• Medical Billing Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a Hospice setting.
• Billing Procedures Knowledge: In-depth understanding of billing procedures, relevant rules, and regulations.
• Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve complex billing issues.
• MS Office Proficiency: Excel proficiency in MS Office applications.
