We're seeking experienced Backend Engineers to build and maintain our enterprise-class video streaming and processing applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Back-end development, including Web API, Service stack, integrations with Cloud PaaS, etc.

Our team provides Video Content Management systems to leading companies worldwide and is recognized in Gartner's Magic Quadrant. Our developed systems empower customers to deliver Live and On-Demand Video Streaming to their audience, store and share multimedia content, and perform Video and Audio Analysis using Machine Learning.

Backend Engineers create Web Application server stacks that power our products, providing API to the front end, back, and front channel integrations with external systems as well as backend data processing pipelines. This can become quite challenging and interesting when the entire stack has to be highly elastic so it can scale, be secure, and support cloud as well as on-prem deployment scenarios. Underlying technologies used include Web Application frameworks, Services, Cloud PaaS, and high-performance data processing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop server-side web technology stack that provides API for various products and integrations.
  • Enhance backend processing pipeline with evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Analyst, Web Engineers, and other Front and Back end engineers to provide necessary support building new features.
  • Ensure the backend stack is scalable, elastic, and can support millions of concurrent users.
  • Perform unit, integration testing of developed modules and systems as well as participate in weekly bug bash activity.
  • Conduct Peer code reviews to improve code quality.
  • FOLLOW SCRUM/Agile practices and work with Product Manager to maintain product and sprint backlog.
  • Propose and participate in the adoption of new technologies and trends.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have worked with at least one server-side technology for developing web applications such as ASP.NET, Java Spring/Spring Boot, NodeJS, or Python.
  • Have experience designing and developing API and Middleware for the web.
  • Proficient knowledge and in-depth understanding of underlying frameworks like .NET, Java, etc.
  • Have experience and knowledge of designing scalable applications.
  • Skilled in implementing design patterns and logic development.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience.
