Growth Strategy Specialist
- This role plays a vital part in supporting the company's shift from B2C to B2B by identifying new business opportunities and forming partnerships with academic institutions.
About the Job:
- The Growth Strategy Specialist will be responsible for conducting research to identify potential colleges and universities for partnerships, and working closely with the Business Development Manager to ensure successful execution of our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research to identify new business opportunities.
- Working closely with the Business Development Manager to adapt strategies based on feedback from educational partners and market trends.
- Supporting the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Preparing materials and reports for meetings with academic stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Developing marketing and sales strategies to engage new clients.
- Negotiating contract terms and facilitating a smooth transition to the partnerships and client success teams.
- Participating in educational webinars, networking events, and conferences to promote services.
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on outreach activities and partnership progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support clear and persuasive presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, including research, outreach, and data tracking, with attention to detail.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to support trust and rapport with potential partners.
- Basic understanding of negotiation techniques and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
- Analytical thinking, with the ability to support insights derived from market data and institutional feedback.
- Proactive and motivated approach to learning, executing tasks, and maintaining professional relationships.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
1+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally within the education sector or EdTech.
