Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our Engineering department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality backend systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize APIs for 3rd party integrations, implement safer and more flexible attribute management systems, and enhance availability and assignment algorithms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and optimizing customer-to-supplier dispatching algorithms
  • Implementing real-time order tracking functionality
  • Designing and developing databases
  • Implementing API-first development and E2E API tests

Requirements include strong proficiency in Java, experience with MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot, and high comfort level with RDBMS (MySQL) and MongoDB.

Additionally, you should have proficiency in working with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, experience with message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis), and solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services.

The ideal candidate will have good grasp of the SOLID principles, strong object-oriented programming and design pattern skills, and comfortable with Git version control system.

Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus, as well as willingness to work with PHP 7 (Symfony and Doctrine) and participate in our on-call rota.
