Inov8 is looking for a Java Developer having the following skillset:

  1. 2 to 4 years of Java development experience
  2. Sound understanding of Java programming, JEE, Spring framework (Core, MVC, Security, JPA, Remoting), Hibernate, Design Patterns, relational databases, MAVEN, SOAP/REST web services, SVN.
  3. Must have working experience with PostgreSQL database
  4. Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
  6. System integration experience would be a big plus.
  7. Working on financial applications and transaction processing systems would be a big plus.
About this Role
  • We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, including experience with JEE, Spring framework, Hibernate, and relational databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test Java applications using Agile methodologies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Maintain and improve existing Java codebases to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with design patterns, object-oriented programming, and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in popular Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like SVN and Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
