
Lead Nurse

This is a highly respected position within our organization, requiring a skilled and experienced individual to lead the Ward/Unit as Head Nurse.
Key duties include:
- Creating and implementing efficient rostering and scheduling systems for Nurses and Paramedical Staff.
- Ensuring high-quality patient care through effective coordination with Consultants and other departments.
- Overseeing the management of special assignments, Nurses documentation, pending orders, and maintaining dress code standards.
A successful Head Nurse must possess strong leadership skills, including ability to manage Unit Par levels and maintain crash cart stock.
Additional responsibilities include organizing clinical rounds, conducting environmental checks, monitoring nurse attendance, and reporting to the office of the Nursing Manager.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing inventory and procurement of ward supplies, maintaining accurate patient census records, and alerting the Nursing Manager to critically ill patients.
