Job Title: Assistant Manager - Risk Management

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the risk management department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of Risk Management in the overall implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management framework. This includes identifying key risk areas, mapping internal controls and identifying gaps. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the Risk Inventory Register, ensuring compliance with risk management policies and procedures, and developing risk assessment and monitoring tools.

Liaison with stakeholders including Compliance, IT, Business, Operations, etc. to monitor effective implementation of risk management framework and identify areas of improvement. Conduct periodic risk reviews to assess compliance with risk management framework. Assist Head of Risk Management in developing Risk management dashboards and MIS for management review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • Identify key risk areas and map internal controls to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain the Risk Inventory Register and develop risk assessment and monitoring tools.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a risk management function, preferably in a bank or fintech company.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities as per given situation.
  • Proactive and self-starter with ability and desire to improve effectiveness.
