Aerospace Structures Engineer Position

We seek a skilled UAV airframe designer to collaborate with our R&D team at Inphoenix Aviation.

Main Tasks:

Airframe Design and Testing
- Design and analyze airframe structures for UAVs according to performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Test and validate airframe structures using various methods.
Structural Analysis and Simulation
- Perform structural analysis and simulation using ANSYS, SolidWorks, and FEA software.
- Validate design assumptions through experimentation and analysis.
Documentation and Teamwork
- Create detailed design documentation, including CAD models, technical drawings, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of structural components.
Failure Analysis and Performance Improvement
- Participate in failure analysis and propose solutions to enhance structural reliability and performance.
Flight Test Campaign Support
- Evaluate structural designs' robustness during flight tests.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive knowledge of aerospace structures, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, SolidWorks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, and other relevant software.
Familiarity with composite materials, lightweight alloys, and UAV design principles.
Experience with FEA and load analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective teamwork and communication skills.
