Junior Cloud Engineer Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to start a career in cloud computing and infrastructure support.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and DevOps teams to learn, contribute, and grow their expertise across leading cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain cloud-based environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and escalate or resolve them under senior guidance.
  • Support the deployment of updates, patches, and system improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for cloud configurations, scripts, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates.
  • Follow cloud and security best practices while contributing to compliance efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with team members during daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and troubleshooting discussions.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one).
  • 0–1 year of hands-on experience or academic exposure in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, or DevOps.
  • Demonstrated interest in building a technical career in cloud engineering.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn through real-world tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and following set schedules.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Availability to work during EST hours (5:00 PM to 2:00 AM Pakistan Time).

Preferred Skills:

  • Entry-level cloud certification(s) such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows server environments, or command-line tools.
  • Exposure to scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) or infrastructure automation.
