Job Description:

This role requires a highly motivated and experienced educator who can teach assigned courses, supervise student projects, and lead research initiatives. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to challenge students, and foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials, employing innovative strategies to engage students.
  2. Supervise student projects, field trips, and placements, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Contribute to departmental and university committees, ensuring alignment with RIU's mission and values.
  4. Participate in professional development activities, enhancing teaching and research skills.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement teaching programs, achieving shared goals.
  6. Engage in research activities, publishing findings through various media channels or presenting them at conferences.
  7. Evaluate and improve teaching content and methods, incorporating student feedback and peer review.
  8. Act as a line manager, supervising the work of others, including research teams and projects.
  9. Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.
