At Fatima Group, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Geological Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GIS and geology software, as well as experience in remote field locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • GIS and Software: Use GIS and geology software to map mineral and alluvial deposits, interpret morphology, and predict high-mineral-content areas.
  • Fieldwork: Conduct extensive fieldwork in remote areas, ensuring responsible exploration with minimal environmental impact.
  • Communication: Prepare geological reports, maps, and cross-sections, and communicate findings to project managers and engineers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Geology with a strong background in sedimentology, mineral exploration, or economic geology is advantageous.
  • Experience: 20–25 years of field experience in mineral exploration or mining geology, preferably in remote areas.
  • Skills: Strong reporting and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with international consultants, engineers, technicians, and local staff.
