Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled 3D Animator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating realistic and compelling character actions, creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras. They will work closely with other artists, leads, and the animation supervisor to ensure client requirements are met.

The 3D Animator will create scene layouts using a library of assets, compose and animate cameras in a cinematic style, and work under the guidance of senior artists to grow and develop the business. They will also implement working methodologies, manage large projects, and coordinate visual effects output and quality control.

In addition, they will work with lead animators to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in animation principles and serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.

Key Skills
  • Experience in game development animating characters using Maya, Flash, Spine, or equivalent 3D or 2D programs.
  • Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and how they can be used to enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers.
  • Self-motivation, great communication skills, and team player attitude.
  • Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group.
Additional Requirements
  • Passion for video games.
  • Experience in FX and particle animation.
  • Skill in one more related discipline: modeling, rigging, or technical art.
  • Experience with Unity.
Requirements
  • Mid-Senior level, minimum 4 years of experience.
