Process Improvement Consultant

As a Business Analyst I, you will focus on driving operational excellence and improving process quality within S&P Global's Commercial Operations.
Responsibilities
This role involves:
- Analyzing technical solutions to improve operational effectiveness and excellence.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements.
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Providing technical expertise to support incident management and resolution.
- Creating comprehensive technical documents to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Executing the Month-end close process through effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Supervising activities between resources and facilitating smooth workflow for service delivery.
- Building Knowledge Base articles, Playbooks, and documentation to support business operations.
- Identifying opportunities for functional improvements and enhancements to maximize available technology effectiveness.
- Monitoring user feedback and areas of concern, and engaging with Scrum teams and Product Owners for suggestive areas of improvement.
- Staying up to date with current field practices to enhance service standards and delivery.
- Understanding end-to-end solution architecture and integrations.
- Remaining knowledgeable of current technology trends and researching new trends for maximum results.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working with Salesforce and/or on Technical Support Teams in related fields.
- Basic understanding of Agile best practices.
- Good understanding of development environments and testing processes.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to articulate problems and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CPQ or other OTC Applications will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of the Business Analyst role in support teams.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Application will be an added advantage (some combination of Opportunity Management or Quote Management implementation knowledge is a plus).
