We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to fill the role of Lead Proposals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our proposals team, reviewing ITB and contractual documents, evaluating proposals for accuracy, and developing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for management review.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Bids & contractual obligations for Turnaround and Retrofit Projects in the Oil & Gas industries in Pakistan. They will be responsible for guiding pre-mobilization activities, ensuring proper planning for smooth project commencement, managing Project Cost & Financials to ensure budget adherence and cost control, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders for effective communication and project progress.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team and take on a leadership role in our proposals department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, reviewing technical documents, evaluating proposals, and developing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for management review.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review ITB and contractual documents to identify obligations and risk factors related to the bid.
  2. Evaluate proposals for accuracy and develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for management review.
  3. Review technical documents such as Project Schedules, Project Organization Charts, Resource Deployments, Method Statements, and commercial documents like Bid Package and Client Price Schedule.
  4. Guide pre-mobilization activities, ensuring proper planning for smooth project commencement.
  5. Manage Project Cost & Financials to ensure budget adherence and cost control.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders for effective communication and project progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in proposals, bids, and estimation for Turnaround, EPC, & Retrofit projects.

Candidates should possess proven expertise in managing shutdowns, turnarounds, and retrofit projects, as well as strong technical skills in proposals and cost estimation, with a track record of generating new opportunities. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential.
