**Capture the Vision: A Collaborative Role**

We're seeking a highly skilled Visual Storyteller and Camera Specialist to bring a director's vision to life.

This role involves assisting the Director of Photography (DoP) in crafting visually stunning sequences, while also supporting camera setup, lighting, and media management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the DoP to translate the director's vision into captivating visual stories.
  • Work closely with camera departments to establish optimal camera setups, including lens choices, framing, and movement planning.
  • Coordinate with the lighting department to ensure effective lighting schemes for each scene.
  • Manage camera department workflow, including media management, backups, and equipment maintenance.
  • Operate secondary cameras or B-cam when required, ensuring seamless continuity.
  • Scout locations with the DoP and provide solutions for technical challenges.
  • Maintain equipment functionality and troubleshoot any issues on set.
  • Ensure visual style consistency across different scenes and shooting days.
  • Assist in planning and executing complex shots, such as Steadicam, gimbal, and drone operations.
  • Coordinate with post-production teams regarding footage quality and technical specifications.
  • Assist in editing video projects, including commercials, social media videos, interviews, and promos.
  • Organize, log, and manage raw footage, project files, and media assets.
  • Synchronize audio, apply basic color correction, and perform rough cuts as directed.
  • Add music, sound effects, and simple motion graphics as needed.
  • Export and deliver final assets in multiple formats optimized for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with senior editors, producers, and creative teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain version control and adhere to file naming conventions and workflow standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Camera Assistant, Operator, or Junior Cinematographer.
  • Strong knowledge of digital cinema cameras and industry-standard software.
  • Understanding of lighting techniques and color theory.
  • Ability to manage and organize camera equipment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities on fast-paced sets.
  • Knowledge of post-production workflows is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work long hours and travel as needed.
  • 0-2 years of experience in video editing or a relevant internship.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve is a plus).
  • Basic understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.
  • Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and export settings.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take feedback and apply revisions efficiently.
  • Passion for video content and a willingness to learn and grow.
