Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Product Development Manager to lead our product development initiatives and create innovative, functional, and cost-effective furniture designs that meet market demands and customer expectations while adhering to manufacturing constraints.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new product designs and prototypes based on market analysis and client feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize product concepts with business objectives
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the practicality of new designs and materials for manufacturing
  • Identify market trends and competitor products to inform innovation strategies
  • Create detailed technical drawings, product specifications, and BOMs for new designs
  • Manage prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure quality and performance
  • Source suitable materials for product development from reliable suppliers
  • Evaluate designs against quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Detailed documentation of all product development processes, milestones, and outcomes

Essential Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in product development, preferably in the furniture manufacturing sector
  • Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or 3ds Max, along with knowledge of prototyping methods and tools
  • Deep understanding of furniture materials, production processes, and quality standards
  • Superior problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities
  • Innovative thinking and ability to drive creativity in product design and development
