Optimize Web Performance and Secure Applications

At our innovative organization, we are looking for a skilled Front-end Developer to join our team. This role involves optimizing the performance of our web applications and ensuring their security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Develop strategies to improve application performance, including lazy loading and minimizing bundle size.
  • Implement efficient data-binding, change detection optimization, and caching techniques to enhance client-side performance.
  • Profile and optimize the rendering cycle and memory management to handle large-scale data efficiently.
  • Utilize service workers, Web Workers, and tree-shaking to reduce JavaScript bundle sizes and improve loading time.
  • Minimize HTTP requests, optimize API calls, and ensure asynchronous loading of resources to reduce latency.
  • Security Implementation:
  • Implement secure coding practices by following industry standards (OWASP Top 10) to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Use Angular's built-in security mechanisms to prevent XSS and CSRF attacks.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using secure methods (e.g., JWT, OAuth2).
  • Protect against injection attacks by sanitizing data inputs and ensuring safe API interactions.
  • Enable Content Security Policy (CSP) to mitigate risks from malicious content.
  • Collaboration & Best Practices:
  • Work closely with the back-end team to ensure secure data handling and optimize API interactions.
  • Implement unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure security features are intact and performance standards are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end performance optimization and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong understanding of framework architectures.
  • Expertise in front-end performance optimization, including lazy loading and minimizing bundle sizes.
  • Experience implementing security best practices in web applications.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and OAuth2 for secure client-server interactions.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries like NgRx or Akita.
  • Hands-on experience with build tools like Webpack and Angular CLI.
  • Experience with secure HTTP headers, CSP, and JWT token management.
  • Solid understanding of unit testing and end-to-end testing.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with progressive web applications and service workers.
  • Knowledge of Web Vitals and performance monitoring tools.
  • Experience with server-side rendering or Angular Universal.
